Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)

UAV in action

Hansa Luftbild uses Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) in a small but growing number of applications. These vehicles are, in combination with remote sensor systems and remote control systems, also named as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

There are a wide variety of UAV shapes, sizes, configurations, and characteristics. Hansa Luftbild uses multicopter or fixed-wing aircrafts - according to the proposed applications and projects.

Since the last few years, numerous fields of application have been develepod, including archeological excavations, aerial surveying of crops, inspecting power lines and pipelines or for construction supervision.

Geodata captured from the air: a picture is worth a thousand words

Aircraft, helicopters and drones are indispensable as transport media for aerial survey sensors. Nothing is better for an overview than the view from above. Aerial images show the area under investigation in true form and thanks, to automated modern rectification and correlation processes, as well as high image resolution, the smallest details are accurately positioned: the basis for every GIS, for digital surface models, for every cadastre, for every query.
