Hansa Luftbild at the Roads-Geo-Congress, 19 – 20 March, 2013.

The main theme of this conference was the implementation of double-entry bookkeeping for regional / local authorities  and road/street  maintenance and management. On opening day, at which the Minister of Transport, Peter Ramsauer, was expected, Hans-Christoph Tielbaar, department head of Geoinformation at Hansa Luftbild, moderated a workshop on “Road / Street Databases; Road / Street Cadastre”.

With the title “Establishing a Road / Street Cadastre with Aerial Image Restitution and Entry into the  Maintenance Management gem. EMI – Case Study: Gaggenau” varying aspects of “Recommendations for the Management of the Maintenance of Inner City Roads and Streets” were covered from both a theoretical and practical perspective, with particular reference to the town of Gaggenau.

Hansa Luftbild has provided very successful solutions for the management of street cadastre and maintenance for many years. It has extensive experience in this field, offering a wide range of products and services for street cadastre. The workshop was designed to help specialists from the financial and administrative spheres to identify challenges and problems in the establishment of street cadastre, in good time, and to manage and anticipate these with good forward planning of any new systems introduction.
