The two day event, which was opened by H.E. Sileshi Getahun, State Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Mr Dennis Weller Director of USAID / Ethiopia Mission, included a series of workshops. As part of the workshop series Hansa Luftbild gave a presentation on its land administration experience in Ethiopia and its international activities in aerial mapping, LiDAR and GIS.
In addition Hansa Luftbild, as a major player in this initiative, displayed a side exhibit about its recently completed Addis Ababa cadastre project. Over fifty experts from Ethiopian governmental organisations and academic institutions participated in the event.
