Annual World Bank Conference on Land and Poverty

For the second year running Hansa Luftbild attended and presented a paper at the annual World Bank conference on Land and Poverty held in Washington DC from 08 to 11 April 2013.

Hansa Luftbild’s paper was about its Addis Ababa cadastre project which involved the successful development of a real property registration system, updating of cadastral map data and supporting the establishment of a new property registration agency. Eight hundred participants from more than 90 countries gathered for four days in Washington DC to discuss, in various sessions, land governance and land registration, securing land rights for women in the third world and spatially enabled societies.
