Hansa GeoWEB
The project line that makes your geo data accessible through web technology — company-wide and beyond on the internet or extranet
Thematic processing of geographic information via the web
Hansa GeoWEB provides geographic information in thematic structured views through the use of meta databases and geo data server technology in a Web environment using either the Internet or Intranet.
In delivering spatial information to the user conventional web technology limited by its requirements for data conversion and transformation, by the extensive need for programming is costly, time intensive and complicated. We apply fully developed technologies to generate web applications that permit the integration of spatial and cartographic applications. This is how we design your spatial applications in a very short time at comparatively low costs.
Hansa GeoWEB always includes consultancy and analysis of the functional requirements, the database and the framework of the project. Client specific web solutions are produced on the basis of GeoMedia products or other preferred proprietary web map servers (e.g. ESRI, GE-Solutions) (e.g. ESRI) or as an open source solution. OGC standards (WCS, WMS, and WFS) can be supported if you desire an exchange of data with third parties without additional effort.
Hansa GeoWeb solutions can be flexibly scaled and extended regarding licenses, hardware equipment, a growing number of users and accesses. Functions can be adapted to stepwise requirement changes. The data are processed and presented according to your individual demands, extended, if required, and migrated to high-performance databases. The web application invariably remains transparent to the user in matters of his expertise.
We offer Hansa GeoWEB as an in-house geo data server project or data centre project via internet through establishing a data centre project or as an application service via the Internet. The links to e-commerce and an access counter allow the cost of the systems to be calculated and allocated according to usage. Varying levels of user access with attached privileges protect against misuse and unauthorised access.
