Hansa Luftbild doesn’t maintain its own aerial photo archive. Our clients retain the aerial photography after the conclusion of the work.

Aerial photos which Hansa Luftbild retains rights to and those taken before 1985 are to be found in the main state archives in Düsseldorf. These can be copied for a fee.

In Germany the state survey departments order aerial photos covering entire regions at regular intervals. Consequently copies of aerial photos, selected enlargements, orthophotos and photo maps especially from old photos are obtainable. In order to use aerial imagery in a versatile manner, the state survey departments register aerial photography taken for other organisations.

Aerial photos produced by Hansa Luftbild are not as a rule suitable for producing images of individual private houses. The aerial photography is more concerned with sequential vertical photography taken from high altitudes for photogrammetric survey and data capture for maps and basic planning.
